2021 cPanel/Plesk Pricing

On October 1st, Oakley Capital, the parent company of cPanel and Plesk, announced a pricingincrease to their current licensing structure which will take effect on January 1, 2021. While we understand that incremental price increases are expected from providers from time to time, Liquid Web does our very best to try and limit the costs we have to pass on to our customers. 

Our Response

Liquid Web will withhold incurring any new pricing increases until January 1, 2021. We hope to provide our clients with the time needed to make an informed business decision using one of the following options from the information below:

  • Maintain Current Model — Beginning on January 1, 2021, the new pricing structure for cPanel and Plesk will take effect, and your invoice will reflect the updated pricing model. To read more about the changes and see a pricing matrix that will assist you in better understand how your bill will change, please see our cPanel Pricing Breakdown knowledgebase article or the information provided by cPanel. No further action on your part will be needed, as the new pricing will automatically take effect on January 1, 2021. 
  • Consolidated Pricing Options  —  If you have multiple servers running numerous cPanel or Plesk accounts on each server, you might consider consolidating those accounts onto a single server to take advantage of cPanel's bulk pricing option. If you would like to review your specific consolidation options, simply reach out to one of our Sales team members or Account Executives, and we can assist you in locating the best approach that works for you and your business. 
  • The Liquid Web Alternative: InterWorx — If you need to keep your pricing structure low, utilizing our InterWorx Control Panel can help you maintain a lower overall cost that is at or below your current pricing scheme. We offer free assistance in migrating your existing to our new control panel option called InterWorx.

    We are proud to offer InterWorx on Linux as a feature-rich and cost-effective alternative to cPanel and Plesk. This plan includes a three-year price lock guarantee. If you are interested in learning more about InterWorx, you can review our InterWorx Control Panel page, or reach out to one of our Sales team or Account Executives, and they will be happy to assist you. Note: To avoid any pricing increases, you will need to migrate to InterWorx before January 1, 2021

Liquid Web will continue to offer both cPanel and Plesk, along with InterWorx, as a fully managed control panel option, including the same high level of server support provided by the Most Helpful Humans in Hosting® 

Note:
If you purchase an introductory term VPS plan, the base price of the VPS will include up to 30 cPanel accounts. Base packages on VPS, Cloud Dedicated, and Dedicated Servers making monthly payments will include up to 5 cPanel accounts. On a dedicated server, the base price will include up to 100 cPanel accounts. On Cloud Dedicated servers, pricing starts with Plus
