Server Overview

The Server Overview in manage is the launch pad for the rest of the Manage functionality. Each active server is listed in the overview, and grouped according to the type of server it is.

This article will teach you how to create, modify and delete hosting package presets within WHM. While you can configure each option individually when setting up an account on your VPS server or Dedicated server, you may find yourself using the same handful of overall settings for a lot of your sites. By creating hosting packages you able to define preset packages with varying resources, making account creation that much quicker.

Have you run into the cPanel error seen below in WHM where it prevents you from adding more cPanel accounts? It states that you have exceeded the total number of accounts allowed by your license. If so, this tutorial will demonstrate how you can increase the quantity of available accounts from within your Manage interface.

Liquid Web’s Account Management System has a robust API that allows for accessing your account from outside the Manage interface. For example, the API can be used to integrate WHMCS directly to your Liquid Web account. To access the API, an API user must first be created for that account.

The History tab in your Cloud Sites control panel provides a historical list of the accounts previous tasks and actions. Here you can review a history of completed tasks such as: account creation and removals, creating new websites, creating FTP users, removing account resources and more.

When you first log into your Liquid Web Cloud Sites control panel, you will by default be on the Websites tab. Here you see a list of the websites created and being managed through the interface. If you have not created a website on Cloud Sites yet, this section will be blank.

With Cloud Sites, you can create client accounts for easy client management. These client accounts group your clients’ sites together, so you can quickly see which websites belong to which clients. You can even allow your clients access to a Cloud Sites control panel containing only their sites.
